This thick fleece vest is extremely soft, a real pleasure to wear!
The fabric is a honeycomb imitation, very nice, giving it thickness and a plush feel. However, this texture tends to attract dust and fibers… and it seems to pill over time.
The Sun Valley Raiden features a central zipper made of plastic, with a silver metal imitation finish: we love this stylish detail. The top of the Sun Valley Raiden is lined with a protective reinforcement to prevent chin irritation from friction.
The Sun Valley Raiden is fitted but not tailored, offering a feminine style while still leaving room for base layers.
On each side, a blue/white/red stripe is sewn (reminiscent of 70s alpine technical wear).
The vest has four open pockets – two external, side pockets with rounded cut openings giving a nice design. And two simple interior pockets.
An elastic trim encircles each shoulder, fitting the shape of each skier and providing a very classy finish. A similar trim is sewn along the bottom of the vest, tightening the product at the hips and limiting the thermal gap.
This garment pairs perfectly with the Rush fleece.
An affordable sleeveless fleece vest, very comfortable, and providing a good additional layer of thermal insulation.
