Practically all our testers loved the near pastel colors that gave this ski a vintage look, with the pattern of the wood grain coming through to add a contemporary vibe.
This ski is more comfortable on the piste than off.
The Titanal gives it energy and power when on the edges carving well-groomed snow.
The long wide radius turns are exceptional, just like its grip. But you can also correct your trajectory, change the radius and even skid.
Its 16.8m radius gives uneasiness on short turns especially when leaning into the edge. To be able to carry out this maneuver you have to be as centered as possible on the skis.
Off piste on bumpy ground, or choppy snow, these skis have a tendency to be a bit too volatile. Mainly due to the rigid tail that doesn’t allow you to relax a little leaning back.
In deep snow, the floatability of the ski is limited with its 90mm waist.
The Kenja is a good ski for technical skiers who prefer to hang out on the pistes. A very beautiful product to give you a smile on nicely groomed slopes, a little less on choppy snow. This is Völkl’s top of the range All Mountain ski.
