The Kästle has established a recognizable look for several years, but it’s sometimes difficult identifying the different models in the range. The TX 90 Tour Haute Route is a lightweight model and the look is chic and sober so you don’t immediately think of it as a free touring ski.
Overall they are always playful, easy to pivot and lightweight to ski.
Thanks to the rocker in deep snow pivoting is easy. There is good cushioning in bumpy terrain, but don’t go too fast because the flexibility of the ski leads to less stability at high speed.
On hard snow it grips well and initiates the turns with ease, both carving and skidding turns.
Keep the speed in check otherwise you risk releasing the front of the ski if there is too much pressure.
It is targeted at lightweight skiers who want to use it in an all mountain situation, or free touring.
