We tested this ski pants with the Colmar down jacket. The ensemble is designed to perform in cold conditions.
We really liked this Colmar pants for several reasons. Firstly, it is a protective pant that is both membrane-lined and insulated. It features Thermore Classic padding, which includes 50% recycled fibers. The use of stretch fabric also contributes to the high comfort level of these Colmar pants. It indeed conforms (very) well to movements during leg flexions. Warm, flexible, comfortable, it is also well-cut, presenting a more “fitted” look than a freeride pant.
Its technical appearance, large and easily accessible pockets, ventilation, comfortable (and stay-in-place) suspenders make it a product tailored for action. The picture wouldn’t be complete without the traditional protections against edge impacts.
The membrane is also efficient as it resists moisture quite well (although we have seen more effective ones). It allows staying dry in the snow.
A very good protective ski pant, also equipped with cold insulation. Great comfort and a relevant cut.
We used this equipment over a long period of time
