As its name indicates this Dynafit range is designed for ski tourers that are looking for a lightweight ski. It pivots very easily and is wide enough to enjoy downhills with ease.
The Tour 88 fulfills its specifications. In our testing in old powder it easily lifted up onto the surface with fluidity in the turns. It is surprisingly easy to pivot despite only having a slight rocker.
In choppy snow you need to keep your speed in check otherwise it loses stability and cushioning.
It has could stability on hard snow when skidding turns. Pivoting is very easy assisted by its lightness.
On very hard snow and if the slope is steep, angulation is required to enable a good grip from the edges for it to behave like a piste ski.
