This is a very accessible all-mountain lady ski, with a contained level of performance. Its limits become apparent quickly if you aim to progress rapidly and put a heavy load on it. The front of the ski vibrates a lot, given the significant rocker and tip rise.
For other female skiers, the Nordica Santa Ana 88 presents itself as a very easy ski, with its main characteristic being its immediate pivot—clearly an oversteering ski. The back of the ski is almost pintail. When speed increases and you’re making sliding or drifting turns, you need to keep a bit of weight on the ski. It doesn’t follow a very distinct trajectory. However, if you put the Nordica Santa Ana 88 on edge, despite its short effective edge, it performs well. You can carve with it, let it roll, change radii without applying too much pressure on the front, or it will deform.
It is also enjoyable in all types of off-piste conditions. It quickly rises above the snow, turns very easily. When skiing on hard surfaces with impacts, the ski amplifies vibrations, especially at higher speeds. Very effective at the end of the season in variable snow thanks to its forward rocker that goes over bumps. A ski with gentle effects.

It has a limited level of performance, but it can suit a skier who is venturing into all-mountain skiing, starting off-piste, and navigating varied snow conditions. Ideal for a less technical skier. Very user-friendly in all aspects of the game. Extremely accommodating for nearby off-piste skiing. Ideal for starting freeriding.
