This ski should have received a First Award but once we had it on the groomed snow, everything fell to the wind. The pressure on the edge is irregular you have to go hell for leather in the hope of deforming it. The turn is wide and difficult to reduce, which of course is important for serenity’s sake going down a groomed slope.
Because the ski is wide the edge bite is tough to find and so manoeuvring is not smooth. On very hard snow once the edge is engaged it grips hard. On groomed slopes or in powder it pivots quickly and easily, which in turn economises energy in your legs, pure joy. Care must be taken not to over-accentuate the turn, a front rocker effect.
It’s best in powder where turning is a cinch. It floats on the snow. It lifts off the snow really fast and the front part of the ski absorbs and filters the vibrations. The ski makes a bit of noise on hard snow but nothing too annoying. Off-piste it floats like a dream and has fabulous design. It is a very good off-piste ski and for soft snow.
A bit too mono-radius on groomed slopes. On steep slopes, doing tight, short turns it pivots perfectly. The rounded top sheet is stunningly beautiful but very slippery when carrying it; if you aren’t wearing gloves it’s practically impossible to carry the skis if they’re wet.

Skis are fast and carve 18M like a champ. Float in wet and soft crud…allowing skidding-to-edging on compact under-snow. Easy in 45 degree slopes to get hard edge set and immediate new edge. Only problem…noisy above 40MPH
